저 남쪽 제주도의 한 어촌 마을. 사막의 블루스와 아프로비트 그리고 그나와족의 트랜스한 리듬이 만났다. 저 남쪽 제주도의 한 어촌 마을에서 사막의 블루스와 아프로비트 그리고 그나와족의 트랜스한 리듬에 영향을 받은 노래들이 탄생했다. 작고 오래된 그 집에서 영감을 받은 오마르는 노래를 만들기 시작했고, 얼마 후 와일이 그 위에 리듬을 더하게 되었다. 그 이후 기타리스트 진우와 베이시스트 태히언이 합류하면서 오마르와 이스턴파워가 새로운 국면을 맞이하게 되었다.노래의 이면에는 자유, 고독, 노동, 신명이 기본적으로 깔려있다.
 
Influenced by desert blues, Gnawa trancy rhythms, Afrobeat, songs were made in a fishermen village down the island of Jeju. In that small old house where Omar came up with the songs, Wael joined in and mixed in his rhythms. The Eastern Power completed by Jinwoo on guitar and Tehiun on bass, gave the songs a whole new spectrum of possibilities. Walking miles represents the long nights and days spent digging for more depth in that fisherman’s house.
